Adjacent to the Beerwah Marketplace, Beerwah Village is anchored by major tenants Target and IGA with an additional 25 specialty retail shops included in the design. The centre has a total retail area of 11,000m2 with 448 car spaces. The building incorporates sustainable design initiatives with engaging facades for user joy, creating an environment which can earnestly be accepted by the Beerwah community as their own.

Anchored by a Shell Coles Express with KFC and Starbucks drive-thru tenancies, Servico on Olsen is a key project for Empirica Developments who have recognised the substantial infrastructure upgrades in the area. The $20M convenience centre also provides over 850m2 of specialty retail space in a highly trafficable area of the Gold Coast. The development was completed in November 2017.

The renovation to the Dalby Aquatic Centre Grandstand was a honour to undertake. The Olympic pool was the first of its kind in Queensland outside of Brisbane, and the renovations undertaken by POWE sought to bring new life and equal accessibility to the centre for the grand celebrations and races that the centre holds. Construction was completed by New State Builders, who kindly also provided the images pictured below.

THE PROJECT

Building upon the unique style of Alderley; adding functional, usable space to this pivotal, transit-oriented location.  The design captures the highest and best use for its northern and eastern aspects and panoramic views over both the Brisbane CBD and Mt Coot-Tha. The development approval includes more than 6000m² of retail; two 700m² of commercial offices, and 238 apartments in two towers and over 600 cars in two basements.

The design outcome of the eight story Dialog House is a direct and complete response to the site and to the brief. The building entrance and orientation address the Boundary Street frontage with pedestrian, service and car park entries providing convenient access to the building. The office areas are provided with natural day lighting and view to the Brisbane CBD and River.

Contemporary architectural design, strong building elements and exceptional finishes.

The six level office building is situated on the corner of Coronation Drive and Booth Street, Toowong. The building entrance and orientation address the predominant northeast corner of the site and the building takes advantage of the view to the Brisbane River and Brisbane Inner City. The contemporary architectural design, strong building elements and finishes of the building reflect the high quality of the development and strongly contribute to the urban environment of the Toowong Village.
