Within walking distance of both the Stafford Road shopping strip and the Stafford City Shopping Centre, this medium density apartment project demonstrates our increasing residential density work in proximity to retail centres.
A materials palette with a low impact aesthetic reduces the appearance of massing and the perception of building height from the street. The design also respects the adjoining existing residences by not overcrowding the boundary. Residents’ cars are securely kept in an undercroft carpark which is screened from the street view.
POWE Architects have assisted the client on this project with exploring their development options through a supported schematic and concept design and process. Once the development potential of the site was understood, POWE Architects then worked with the client and their consultant team to produce the development application.
