David Laws


David is an Australian architect with degrees and professional experience from both Australia and France. Most recently, David has worked as a senior registered architect in a small Brisbane practise, focusing essentially on design documentation and site management for various projects in Queensland.

Throughout his career, he has been responsible for all project phases from Design, Design Development, Documentation and Project Management on a variety of projects including Luxury Residential, Apartment Developments, Mixed Use and Commercial as well as Schools, Child care centres, Municipal Halls and Medical Offices. Client liaison has also been an integral part of his responsibilities and one which he enjoys to maximise the results for each project.

Professional experience

In France, David ran his own office for almost 10 years; first as a consultant to other architects and then developing his own clients. He has applied sustainability principles incorporating passive and solar design to a variety of projects in the public and private sectors at varying scales.
